Intern Work Experience |
Robert Half International Incorporated February 2000 to June 2000 I was an Administrative Supporter at the OfficeTeam division of RHI. I am currently involved in a correspondence project for the Recruiting Coordinator, Judith Doyle. I am responsible for informing over 700 potential candidates their present status with RHI. In addition to this, I perform various clerical duties such as directing calls, filing, and organizing work areas. MicroTree Incorporated Spring of 2000 I was in charge of the RMA Department in the Somerset office. I handled all customer and vendor relations regarding defective computer products. I was also personally in charge of processing and filing paper work for those returns and exchanges. Salvatore Contracting Incorporated Summer and Winter of 1999 I was a temporary office assistant at Salvatore. My responsibilities included maintaining communication between architects and subcontractors involved in the erection of the Village School in Skillman, New Jersey. I also performed general clerical duties such as organizing portfolios, filing and directing calls. Talbots January 1999 - January 2000 I was a part-time sales associate at Talbots. Through this position, I learned how to interact with customers on a personal level and how to accommodate their needs to ensure satisfaction. Lord & Taylor October 1997 - September 1998 I was a part-time sales associate at Lord and Taylor. Through this experience, I learned the importance of divisions of labor within the retail environment. |

The Daily Targum 1998 - present I am currently a staff writer for The Daily Targum, and I primarily write profile stories. Profile stories are the most interesting to me because it allows me to meet with exceptional people, and learn about their goals and objectives under their respective fields. Rutgers University Field Hockey Team 1998 -1999 I was a goalkeeper for the Lady Knights in the fall of 1998 and I participated in "Spring Ball" of 1999. Through my experiences with the Rutgers field hockey program, I had extracted more than athletic conditioning. I learned the dynamics of teamwork, the importance of a positive mentality and how to maintain mental health and strength when faced with complications on and off the field. |
